Young professionals from Brazil, China, India, Russia and the USA have until 15 September to compete for a one-year fellowship in Germany with a project of their own.
The German Chancellor Fellowship for prospective leaders offers up to 50 talented young professionals from Brazil, China, India, Russia and the USA an opportunity to spend a year in Germany which they can use to advance their professional training and conduct together with their German host a project they have developed themselves.
Projects in politics, business, media, public administration, society and culture
This fellowship targets up-and-coming professionals, decision-makers and thought leaders with an academic degree completed less than twelve years before the beginning of the fellowship. Applicants can come from a wide range of fields such as politics, business, media, public administration, society and culture. As a prerequisite for applying, applicants must find a host. Hosts can be an organisation, an association, a private company, the public administration, a museum or an educational institution, just to name a few examples. While in Germany, recipients of German Chancellor Fellowships network with other prospective leaders from abroad and return to their respective country as mediators between these cultures.
