![]() For this tour, The Hamburg Ballet is presenting to you one of John Neumeier’s most beloved and successful ballets: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Based on William Shakespeare’s world-famous eponymous comedy, this ballet explores the many facets of love: its unpredictability, its power and its wonder. At times tender, at times passionate and at times simply hilarious, Neumeier’s work is entertaining in the best sense of the word. His diverse musical choices provide the perfect framework for each scene, and Jürgen Rose’s fanciful sets and costumes just the right amount of magic.
